Application area
VEGAWELL 72 is used for level and gauge measurement in wells, basins and atmospherically open vessels1) especially in drinking water and waste water treatment.
Principle of operation
The sensor element is a CERTEC® measuring cell with a flush ceramic diaphragm. The hydrostatic pressure induces a capacitance change in the measuring cell via the ceramic diaphragm. This capacitance change is converted by the integrated analogue electronics into a 4 ... 20 mA output signal.
Power supply
VEGAWELL 72 has a two-wire electronics 4 ... 20 mA for power supply with 12…36 V DC.
1.3 Adjustment.
The VEGAWELL 72 with 4 ... 20 mA electronics has no adjustment options.
